The figure below is an example of some of the work i did at the University Warsaw. It shows cloud condensate and rain water mixing ratios (qc and qr) in a large-eddy simulation of shallow cumulus convection. More simulation results can be seen here.

Green/yellow circles indicate grid points with cloud condensate mixing ratio qc > 0, and the “shadows” on the lower surface indicate the sum of qc over all grid points in each column. Blue dots represent grid points with precipitation (the size of the dots indicates the amount of precipitation) .
